Panther on a recent canal clearance on the “five’n'alf”  between Hawkesbury Junction and Coventry City (Bishop Street Basin)

On this occasion we had two City Councillors on board to show them what we do, they were suitably impressed and the lady Councillor gave me a quote I couldn’t possibly use!  For the record they were Councillor Dave Chater and Councillor Ann Lucas.

Councillor Lucas said “I did not realise the extent of the work that volunteers carry out. You hear about it, but when you see it first hand you appreciate just how much they do.”

We do a clearance every month.
