June 10th Bridgewater Motor Boat Club held the Commodore’s annual BBQ at the Walton Moorings. Members had to be dressed in Beach clothes and a large amount of sand was delivered to the clubs moorings.
The site was dressed with inflatable palm trees, large bananas and parrots hung from the trees. the food included a very large pig cooked on a spit. (It took all day to roast it) The drink was mainly very alcoholic cocktails served with fruit kebabs.
