Club Profile
Established in 1965 when a group of boating enthusiasts negotiated with British Waterways Board to lease the old lockhouse, which was due to be demolished, and part of Cranfleet Cut a few 100 yards on the opposite side of the clubhouse which was once a winding hole. Over the years inmprovements have been made to the clubhouse and moorings. We are situated at Cranfleet Lock between the River Trent at Attenborough and Trent Lock.
Our clubhouse is open to members and non-members most Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. We have a small bar and kitchen area which is run by members. On the moorings we have electricity and plenty of seating. We have the capacity for 19 boats.
We hold an Annual Boat Gathering usually on the 2nd weekend of May and a Beer Festival on the 3rd weekend of September.
