Having trouble logging in?
If you are experiencing difficulties logging in to the members area — particularly
after completing the password reset process — the following checks resolve
almost all login problems.
In practice, passwords issued by the reset system do work. In nearly every case,
login failures are caused by small typing or formatting issues.
-
Login ID / username must be entirely lower-case.
Phones and tablets often auto-capitalise the first letter or the character after
the dot — please check carefully.
-
Use a dot (
.) between forename and surname.
Do not use commas, spaces, or other punctuation.
-
Passwords are case-sensitive.
Ensure the case of all letters is exactly as issued and not altered by your device.
-
Check for accidental spaces.
Spaces at the start, end, or within the login ID or password will cause login to fail.
This commonly happens when using copy-and-paste.
If you are still convinced your login is not working after checking the above,
please email webmaster@awcc.org.uk and I will happily test it for you.
To date, I have not encountered a valid reset password that did not work.
