The Club was founded in 1964 and is very proud to be one of the four founding members of AWCC. As a Club we have over 100 members with wide ranging skills and knowledge and it is all down to their abilities, commitment and hard work that we have the Club and facilities that we have today - we think the founding members would be extremely proud of what they started and what it has become.
Location - The Club is located in a rural and beautiful part of Buckinghamshire at the foot of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We are on the Grand Union Canal at Cooks Wharf, Pitstone, with Marsworth and the Wendover and Aylesbury Arms just over 1-mile to the south and Leighton Buzzard to our north.

Facilities - A friendly and welcoming Club with excellent member facilities within a secure gated site including car parking, slipway, wet dock, workshop, Elsan disposal, wi-fi across the site and water points and electric hook-ups at all 47 moorings.
Fabulous Clubhouse, large kitchen, toilets, shower and popular monthly social events. Organised Club events include cruises and other fun events. All members are encouraged to participate in work parties to keep our Club looking its best and keep our costs low.
Membership - Leisure moorings available for boats up to 40ft - applications for membership with mooring always welcome - email secretary@ddbc.info for further information. Further information also available on the Dunstable and District Boat Club Facebook page, Instagram and website www.ddbc.info
Visiting AWCC Affiliated Club Members - Secure moorings usually available for AWCC Affiliated Club members visiting the area - please contact the Harbourmaster or Secretary to arrange a visitor mooring. All of our moorings have access to electricity and water. Visitors will be provided with a gate key to access the gated site, which is protected by CCTV.
